In today’s digital world, every marketer is aware of the importance of reporting campaign data. You want to make data-driven decisions for your digital marketing strategy, boost top sellers or create more visibility for low-performing items. Also, you might want to implement a cross-channel marketing strategy and sell your products or services on multiple platforms, but maintaining these platforms and analyzing the data can be a huge chore. Wouldn’t it make your life significantly easier if you would have one dashboard where all the important data of your items is gathered and displayed in real-time, and you can use that data to improve your campaigns?
We’re happy to officially launch our long-awaited new feature Channable Insights, which gives you the comfort of collecting and streamlining the data of your marketing activities and the possibility to use this data to improve your campaigns’ success. With Channable Insights, at a glance you can see conversions, impressions, bounces, ROAS, revenue, total cost, and more performance indicators on item level. With that knowledge you can easily adapt and optimize your CPC budget based on performance data.
Collecting and aggregating all relevant data from several campaigns is tedious and error-prone. So if you want to do analytical campaign optimization, Channable Insights provides you with all the data you need at SKU (product) level. And even better, the data can be implemented in the creation of rules within Channable. Whereas without Channable Insights you’d have to manually determine some action criterion, Channable Insights can be used to automatically program rules and it can trigger rules when certain conditions are met. This way you can set up Channable to automatically carry out your data-driven marketing strategies. Leaving you with time on your hands to evaluate and refine them. The campaigns will be automatically updated based on the real-time data Channable collects. Product Owner Robert Smit explains in this video how it’s done in the tool:
With the Channable Insights feature, you are able to track the following metrics:
In other words, Channable Insights goes far beyond the customer behavior and revenue data you had access to thus far. Now you can focus on optimizing your profits in the long run by keeping track of how much you spend and adapting your campaigns accordingly. With Channable Insights, you can easily measure your online performance and make smart decisions that will increase the efficiency of your marketing campaigns and boost your online sales.
Channable Insights collects revenue, orders, and ad cost data from Google and/or the channels you are exporting your products to (Amazon, Bol.com, etc.). Depending on what makes the most sense for your online activity, you can decide to view, optimize, and group your performance data on different levels. From the broadest levels to very detailed ones. Be that channel, product type, category, or item level.
By combining revenue and cost data, you will be able to see your ROAS and profit at a glance:
Have you seen a specific item or product category that doesn’t sell? You can easily exclude it in the Channable rules to make sure you allocate your advertising budget accordingly. Moreover, you can use the calculated ROAS to segment your products into specific campaigns. For example, you can decide to put products with high margins and ROAS scores of 3-5 into a campaign called ‘Top Performers’ to boost sales. Channable Insights also works very well in combination with Performance Max. As you can use the cost data to segment your products into Smart Shopping Campaigns that have different goals. For example, if you have a product that you need to boost in views/clicks to gather more performance data. You can put these products in a campaign with a low ROAS target (0.5 - 2) to boost their visibility. We’ve detailed these and more use-cases in our feature video about Smart Shopping.
