Google CSS
Maximize your Shopping Ad results without increasing your budget. With Channable CSS, you gain up to a 20% margin advantage and improved visibility on Google.
17,000+ companies trust Channable and Producthero CSS for growth
To run Shopping ads on Google, you need a Comparison Shopping Service (CSS). By default, your ads run through Google’s own CSS, which keeps 20% of your bid as a margin. Partnering with a CSS like Channable lets your full bid enter the auction, giving you back that 20% and up to 25% more bidding power.
20% margin advantage on Shopping ads on Google
With Channable CSS, your full bid enters the auction (0% is deducted), making your campaigns up to 25% more competitive than those using Google’s default CSS. Use this advantage to reduce costs while maintaining results or boost performance without increasing your budget.

Next to the CSS 20% margin advantage, with the CSS Standard plan, you also gain access to features that help you quickly spot opportunities and improve the relevance of key products.
Title Optimizer analyzes your product titles and suggests relevant keywords based on real search behaviour and product data.
Labelizer Lite lets you filter products based on performance metrics (clicks and ROAS).

How much time does it take to activate the CSS?
Requesting the switch only takes a few minutes, and the connection request to Channable CSS will appear in your Merchant Center shortly after. In most cases, the full switch is completed within 24-48 hours. It can take up to 14 days at most, depending on your previous CSS provider, but if you’re switching directly from Google CSS, the process is often almost instant once the request is accepted.
Do I need a Channable account to switch to the Channable CSS?
Yes, you’ll need a Channable account before activating the CSS, but creating one is quick and easy. Simply sign up and then follow the setup steps to activate Channable CSS. You’ll only be charged once the CSS is activated, and there’s no requirement to use the Core module.
I am using a Core plan next to the CSS Standard plan. Where should I adjust my product titles?
In Core, you can optimize all your product titles in bulk across every channel, ad platforms, and marketplaces. With the Title Optimizer in the CSS Standard plan, title improvements are focused specifically on Google and are added to Google Merchant Center via a Supplemental Source. The Title Optimizer is primarily used when you want to manually adjust titles for specific individual products. Additionally, it is possible to re-import the optimized titles from the Title Optimizer back into the Feed Manager, keeping all the changes centralized.
Can I compare my Google Ads performance with market benchmarks?
Yes. Use our free Google Ads Benchmark Report to compare your key metrics with aggregated ecommerce benchmarks across the EU and EEA, and validate where your strategy stands.
