Channable is proud to announce the acquisition of Danish feed management company WakeupData as part of our mission for multichannel eCommerce excellence across Europe.
With this acquisition, we will expand our presence in the Nordic markets, to complement our Berlin, New York, and Utrecht offices.
This announcement celebrates growth and our continued commitment to excellence in all markets we serve. All employees who are currently at WakeupData will continue working for Channable in the new Danish branch and after the acquisition, become part of the already 260+ Channable workforce.
At WakeupData, they are looking forward to joining the team and adding their talent to our multichannel eCommerce mission. The new Nordic department will be situated in Aarhus and become the first physical office in the Nordics.
"With Channable's robust platform and resources, we are in a strong position to strengthen our market leadership in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland."
- Steffen L. Jørgensen, WakeupData CEO and partner.
Steffen adds:
"When we combine WakeupData's local expertise and personal service with Channable's cutting-edge technology and international reach - it's a win-win for everyone!"
This acquisition will ultimately benefit all our existing customers and partners, and strengthen Channable's platform and services. Channable will maintain and grow the relationships that have already been built by WakeupData in the Nordics, with the talent of the Danish team.
“One thing was particularly noteworthy in this process towards the acquisition. It was clear that even though we've had a friendly competition for several years, our process to get here seemed like a natural thing to do."
- Rob van Nuenen, CEO of Channable.
With the merging of our two companies’ customers, van Nuenen is particularly looking forward to bringing the teams together with a combined market knowledge of almost two decades.
"After the first conversations with the team at WakeupData, it has become very clear that both companies have made very similar decisions and that both companies are driven by the same visions and values and have built their success based on a healthy company culture with teams with great diversity."
- Rob van Nuenen, CEO of Channable.
For Channable, we expect that this acquisition will strengthen our already strong position in the Nordics and provide the opportunity to develop the product range, and make Channable the undisputed largest player in the Nordics and across Europe.
